As Beta services, TELUS International may replace or modify the Services, including any feature, functionality or performance quality of the Services, and cancel or suspend the Services at any time for any reason with or without notice.
You may not resell, or otherwise distribute or make available, the Services or any component of the Services outside of your organization, or integrate the Services into an external offering by you, whether on a complementary or commercial basis.
You may not engage in or assist others to engage in any activity which: (a) violates the applicable policies of TELUS International or its partners, (b) disrupts or threatens the integrity, operation or security of any IT or communication service or network, (c) is contrary to law or regulation, including export restrictions and trade sanctions, or (d) is undertaken for the purposes of creating or training a model, product or service which competes with TELUS International or its partners. For clarity, prohibited activities include:
You may not, and may not assist others to, copy, modify, create a derivative work of, reverse engineer, decompile, translate, disassemble or otherwise attempt to extract source code or underlying components of, the Services.
You may provide prompts and other data into the Services (“Input”) and receive related output from the Services (“Output”) (Input and Output collectively “Client Content”). As between TELUS International and yourself, you are the owner of your Client Content. As the owner you are at all times responsible for your Client Content. To this end, TELUS International and its partners: (a) do not monitor or censor, (b) exercise no control over, and (c) are not responsible for re-creating or re-transmitting, Client Content.
In inputting Input into the Services you represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents and authorizations from third parties to allow you to do so. When generating Output from the Services you may only generate Output in accordance with the native process(s), applications(s) and interfaces(s) which are part of the Services and you may not extract Output through non-authorized or customized programming interfaces. You may not represent that Output from the Services is human generated when it is not.
Subject to your opt out right in Section 6 of these User and Service Terms, you grant TELUS International and its partners a royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, copy, distribute, transmit, publish and translate your Client Content in order to: (a) provide, evaluate, develop and improve the Services (including training models), (b) comply with applicable laws and regulations, and (c) enforce these User and Service Terms.
You may opt out of TELUS International using your Client Content to train models by providing an opt out email notice to your TELUS International representative prior to using the Services, in which case TELUS International will not use your Client Content for such purpose.
If you decide at your option to provide TELUS International with feedback on the Services, we may use that feedback to improve or otherwise modify the Services. In such case you will have no ownership interest in the improvements or modifications and will not be entitled to receive compensation. Any use of feedback by TELUS International will be at our risk.
Certain components of the Services are delivered by TELUS International using third party partners. When accessing or using the services or platforms of TELUS International partners you are subject to, and agree to comply with, the applicable user, service and license terms of the partner. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with these terms. We advise that the terms may grant or reserve rights to the partner and impose further obligations and liabilities on you.
The following is a list of TELUS International’s partners for the Services along with links to their on-line service terms and policies. The list of partners may be updated by us from time to time without notice:
You may not, or assist others to, input personal information of an individual, including health and financial information, into the Services. Should personal data be entered into the Services in violation of this Section, without limiting your responsibility for the information under Section 5 of these Use and Service Terms, the data will be handled and subject to, the TELUS International Privacy Policy for such time as TELUS International is in possession of the data.
Without limiting the generality of Section 8 of these User and Service Terms, the Service may not be used for any purpose related to the health or well being of persons, including the development of health or well being products or services.
